1. After years of community backlash over a killing that took place in 1997, the fourth and final member of the Fairbanks Four has settled his wrongful murder-conviction lawsuit against the City of Fairbanks.
2. The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District board has completed work on next year's budget, after a week of arduous, hours-long meetings, and passed it on to the Assembly.
3. The $44 billion Alaska LNG Project picked up a letter of intent last week from Taiwan’s state-owned CPC Corporation. Project officials say it’s a first step toward an agreement to buy gas from the project — if it's built.
4. Fairbanks Representative Will Stapp filed a bill last week that would require the governor’s mansion in Juneau to be rented-out on a short-term basis while the Legislature is not in session.
